About Us
The emphasis of the club is on social cross-country riding but many club members are involved in local and national racing and we also participate in many of the off road events that take place throughout the year all over the country.
Membership
- 10% minimum discount on parts and accessories at partner shops.
- Regular club meetings and social events such as beach barbeques, curry nights, camping weekends, trips to Welsh and Scottish trail centres and more.
- Team DRR. Participate in the multitude of mountain bike events around the country as part of a team.
- Discount rates at Avon Tyrrell Mountain Bike Trail. For more details see Where We Ride.

- Club affiliation to Cycling Time Trials and Wessex League Cyclo-Cross Association. (Both of these organisations have many local events that can be ridden on an MTB).
- Discounted top quality club kit.

Ride Calendar
Dorset rough rider rides and social events will be posted on the calendar below, some of our rides are regular, and some are posted at short notice, so be sure to check back to see if new rides have been posted.

Those dedicated souls who strive tirelessly behind the scenes (mostly in dark, padded rooms) to keep the well-oiled machine that is your club running smoothly.
Dave Stratford

Dave Stratford has incredible and extensive knowledge of Dorset and beyond! He regularly rides with other clubs to keep DRR known in the MTB world and works tirelessly on the DRRt routes, taking the worry out of trying to think of where to ride! You would not be disappointed in going on one of David's rides.
Rich Furness

The yellow man. Rich can be found amongst any group as a shining yellow beacon, to follow.......and as no.1's sidekick, he'll be able to keep him respectfully in check 😉
