Afan Weekend – Trail Riding & Coaching

I am currently organising a long weekend trip to ride the trails of Afan together with the option of professional coaching on the purpose-built site at the Afan Bike Park run by Ally Cambell. There is a variety of accommodation including, bunkhouse, campsite, glamping pod or lodge, all of which are on the same site as the coaching.
• Campsite – from £10 pppn
• Bunkhouse – including breakfast £35 pppn
• Glamping Pod – for 2, £40 pn
• Lodge for 5 – from £120 pn
Coaching Sessions: Prices are based on groups of 6. A group of us did the Drops & Jumps last year and it was excellent. See: https://www.campbellcoaching.eu/
• Drops 3hr Session £60
• Jumps 3 hr session £60
• Drops & Jumps, 10am to 4pm £110
• We can arrange a bespoke course with core skills if there is the interest.
The trails at Afan are excellent and vary in skill levels required, with both blue & red routes. The idea is that you can participate in both coaching and trail riding or just the one if you prefer. All welcome, but please bear in mind these are the Welsh mountains and a reasonable level of fitness is required. Travel will be own cars/sharing. I hope to access some funding from DRR. Payment will be up front at time of booking and will be none returnable due to being part of group payments.
