An epic day out on the Isle of Wight, a hard 30-35 miler, loads of climbing, loads of great singletrack, some technical, definitely not for beginners. Led by non e-bikes. E-bikes welcome but you’ll have to wait a fair bit!
Bring a packed lunch and plenty of water, there’s minimal stopping until a pub at the end. We’re catching the 9am ferry from Lymington to Yarmouth so aim to arrive in plenty of time, it goes on the dot! Park on the street in Lymington as parking at the terminal is expensive.
It’s best to book ticket in advance if you can, and if you have Tesco Clubcard you can exchange points for a Wightlink voucher, but this must be done in advance. Return ticket price is £21.80, bikes go free. I’m booked on the 1605 return from Yarmouth but if we’re early we may be allowed on an earlier ferry they’re often flexible. Weather looking good at the moment just a chance of a shower.
