The Autumn DRRt -

The DRRt is a series of cross country challenges from one of the largest mountain bike clubs in the UK. The Dorset Rough Riders have been seeking out the best trails in Dorset and have come up with a series of 30+ mile waymarked routes which cover the best riding you’ll find in the area.

In 2017 we saw some great new options added to the DRRt to allow for more people to ride….so continuing on from 2017 the LITE versions of the DRRt are now permanently in place, so if you don’t feel you can manage the EPIC route, do the LITE which is approximately 2/3rds the distance!

Autumn DRRt – CRANBORNE CHASER or MARTYR’S MAYHEM

10th September 2023 – Okeford Fitzpaine

THE ROUTES……

MARTYRS’ MAYHEM – 10th September 2023 – The EPIC 38 miles or LITE 20 miles.

Heading south via Bulbarrow to Tolpuddle and Bere Regis before heading back via Milton Abbas and Blandford Forest.

The lite option goes as far as Milton Abbey before heading up the main street of Milton Abbas to join the epic, 38 mile route at the top of the hill (which is where the drink stop will be).

The CRANBORNE CHASER – 2024 Event date TBC, which is another one that we do at this time of year, is not dead as we will probably alternate routes in the coming years.

We set up the HQ near Blandford Forest. Free parking. A cafe and toilets are available on site.
